The high-pressure gas-filled damper smoothly assists the opening and closing of the hood improving convenience, appearance, and accessibility of the engine bay. These dampers are mounted with bolt-on brackets designed specifically for each model to minimize the load on the hood and frame. Each damper's gas pressure is tuned according to the weight of the hood.
