The SARD × SHOWA Tuning Evolution Kiwami suspension is a high-end damper that goes beyond the SHOWA Tuning concept of "winding street driving" without sacrificing ride comfort and finished it off with specs that can be used for circuit driving if desired. A major technical point is the damping force can be varied without relying on electronic control, achieving both ride comfort and steering stability under various conditions. This is achieved with the frequency response type variable damper inside the damper. The damping force can be varied without relying on electronic control, achieving both ride comfort and steering stability under various conditions. SFRD automatically and continuously changes the damping force according to the operating frequency of the damper based on the input from the road surface, changes in vehicle speed, steering operation, and operational frequency of the damper. As a result, it softens the input from rough roads and road surfaces with severe unevenness and realizes light footwork while maintaining tenacity during cornering and sports driving. It is usually almost impossible to balance the contradictory characteristics of "comfort" and "sporty", but that middle ground is where the "SFRD" lives. The concept of the "Evolution -Kiwami" is that the suspension listens to the driver, reacts honestly, and makes an enjoyable driving experience with a sense of unity. It is a model truly suitable as the top of SHOWA Tunnig suspension.
