Syms Racing
Yajima Kogyo Co. Ltd. formed the SYMS Racing Team in 1993. They actively participate in the motorsports business. SYMS is a combination of the acronyms "Specialist from Yajima for Motor Sports". In English, SYMS means "joint/unified", the idea of People and machines that combine their wisdom and power to pursue the limits. SYMS aims to promote advanced technological developments in the motorsport industry and offer them to the public. Success in motorsports requires knowledge of multiple fields and a variety of technical capabilities. In order to aim for further success, SYMS utilizes high-level, state-of-the-art technology to produce high-performance parts for Subaru vehicles. This includes the use of a wind tunnel laboratory, 1/4 scale models, as well as repeated tests and trials to develop aero systems that demonstrate reliability and performance in racing environments. The SYMS approach is the pursuit of the highest performance of both the suspension and the chassis to achieve "ideal driving."
