An industry-first Vaccum Disposition Aluminum painting method used by Weds Japan not only reduces heat build-up and captures less brake dust buildup, but additionally allows for amazing uniformity of the paint for a beautiful, iridescent finish. Unnecessary material has been removed in areas where extra material is not structurally important, while material has been added to key points, such as the outer flanges. A new barrel design offers greater brake rotor clearance than its predecessor, and the rear mounting surface has been enlarged for increased rigidity between the hubs. The bead seat gear-cut knurling on the barrel is more pronounced than before, helping keep the tires from spinning on the rim which causes off-balance of the rim and tire. This wheel is manufactured in Japan and exceeds JWL/VIA testing standards by 20%!
Weighing in at just 16.14 lbs, this wheel is extremely lightweight and keeps the traditional TC-105X features, such as a precision gear-cut knurling, ball-milled side cut, N-frame V2, and more.
